MATBUS is proposing changes to the service hours on Route 6 and Route 9 as shown below to become effective January 2, 2019. The proposed timetables can be found on the PDF link below or at the GTC.
Increase in Service Hours - Route 6 Timetable (Dilworth):
- Two 30-minute trips will be added to Route 6 at 6:10 p.m. and 6:40 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Route 6 new service hours will be 6:40 a.m. to 7:10 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- No changes will be made to Saturday service.
Decrease in Service Hours – Route 9 Timetable (Southeast Moorhead):
- Two 30-minute trips will be removed from Route 9 at 6:10 a.m. and 6:10 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Route 9 service new hours will be 7:10 a.m. to 5:40 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- No changes will be made to Saturday service.
These changes are considered minor and do not require a public hearing. The Moorhead City Council will consider approval of the changes at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, December 10, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. in the First Floor Council Chambers of City Hall, 500 Center Avenue, Moorhead.
