We're encouraging the Fargo-Moorhead metro to try out riding MATBUS, with a variety of discounts and events happening throughout the week. We're also thanking the people who are already loyal MATBUS riders. Riders can register for prizes all week with drawing boxes on the bus and at the Ground Transportation Center.
Half-Fare Rides
Monday, October 21 to Friday, October 25
Adult fares will be 75 cents. Discount fares will be 40 cents.
FREE Rides
Friday, October 25, rides will be FREE after 3:00pm.
Saturday, October 26, rides will be FREE all day.
Customer Appreciation Day

MATBUS staff will be serving fresh popcorn and water at the Ground Transportation Center from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
Warm-Up Wednesday

MATBUS staff will be serving hot drinks at the Ground Transportation Center starting at 7:00am and until supplies last.

MATPASS/Rider ID
MATBUS staff will be at the Ground Transportation Center lobby all week 7:00am to 7:00pm, introducing the new MATPASS and Rider ID. The MATPASS is a new smartcard that loads all types of fares, including unlimited ride passes and 10-ride cards. For those who get discount fares, the Special User Card is being replaced with a Rider ID section on the back of the MATPASS. The Rider ID section includes a photo for easy identification.
During this week, Special User Card holders should stop at the GTC to get their new MATPASS with Rider ID. The Rider ID section is also available to those paying adult fare. MATBUS staff can transfer any balance on your current smartcard pass onto your new MATPASS when you switch.
