MATBUS invites Fargo-Moorhead metro residents and visitors to try a low-cost transportation solution this holiday season! MATBUS Quarter Days will be taking place the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, as well as every Saturday in December. On these high-traffic, prime shopping days, riders can board MATBUS fixed route vehicles for only a quarter (25ยข) each trip.
To help riders get to their shopping destinations faster, Route 15 will offer increased service by operating every 15 minutes on Quarter Days. MATBUS operates 23 fixed bus routes in the Fargo-Moorhead metro, with direct access to many popular locations, including West Acres, downtown Fargo, and the Moorhead Center Mall. Shoppers can travel in a warm, heated bus while avoiding holiday headaches like icy roads, busy parking lots, and increased traffic.
Prizes
For our Quarter Days promotion, you can register to win prizes worth $25 each! We will be giving away wooden treasure chests filled with $25 worth of quarters. Registrations will be accepted via drawing boxes located on all fixed route vehicles and at the Ground Transportation Center (GTC). Drawing boxes will only be available on each Quarter Day. Entries will be accepted on November 29 and 30, and December 7, 14, and 21.
