MATBUS Offering Grocery Delivery Service

Service available for seniors (over 60) and MAT Paratransit riders

Starting Thursday, April 9, 2020, seniors (age 60 and older) and MAT Paratransit passengers can schedule grocery delivery from select Fargo-Moorhead stores. After ordering online or calling in an order, passengers can call MAT Paratransit at 701.235.4464 to arrange for pickup and delivery. This service is available for seniors (age 60 and older) and eligible MAT Paratransit riders only.

This service is for essential items only. This includes groceries and personal care products.

Step 1: Order Your Groceries

Just place your order according to the store's instructions. Remember to select your preferred store location. You can order as much as you need. There will be no limit to the number of bags delivered.

During the checkout process, you will need to select in-store pickup. Specifics for each store are listed below. After your checkout, you will be given the date and time when the order will be ready.

Moorhead / Dilworth Locations

Walmart:
Passenger must list "Paratransit" as the additional pickup person. Start your order here.

Target:
These orders must be placed in the Target app. Note, perishable items are not eligible for this service. Passenger must list "Paratransit" as the additional pickup person. Find more information about the app here.

Fargo Locations

Cash Wise:
Passenger must list "Paratransit" as the additional pickup person. If the passenger does not want to order online, they can order by calling 844-274-9473. Start your online order here.

Target:
These orders must be placed in the Target app. Note, perishable items are not eligible for this service. Passenger must list "Paratransit" as the additional pickup person. Find more information about the app here.

Walmart:
Passenger must list "Paratransit" as the additional pickup person. Start your order here for the 13th Avenue location and here for the 52nd Avenue location.

West Fargo Location

***Additional stores may be added in the future. MATBUS will notify passengers of any changes to the list of partner stores.

Step 2: Schedule Your Delivery

Immediately after placing your order, you will need to call MAT Paratransit to schedule your delivery. When speaking to the reservationist, you must tell them you are scheduling grocery delivery service. Then tell them the time the store gave you for pickup.

The driver will pick up your groceries from the store within 60 minutes of your requested time.

Once the driver arrives at your home, they will bring your groceries to your door, even if the door is inside an apartment building. When all bags have been brought to the door, the driver will knock to let you know.

Drivers will keep an appropriate distance away from you during the delivery process.
