Fare Changes
The previously proposed fare changes were approved after the public hearing that took place at the Fargo City Commission meeting on September 2.

Route and Service Changes
The public hearing for these changes took place on September 2 as well, but there was no action taken by the Commission. MATBUS has been reviewing all the public comments received about these proposed changes, and has also been in conversation with our transit partners (West Acres, metro-area governments, etc.) since this meeting.
Wednesday, September 17
The MATBUS Coordination Committee will be voting on the proposed service changes, and their recommendation will be brought to the Fargo City Commission.
Monday, September 29
The Fargo City Commission will consider all information about the proposed service changes, including the MATBUS Coordination Committee recommendation, public comments, budget, and system data. They will then make their final votes, deciding on each proposed change individually.
Note: There will be no action taken by the Commission on these changes at their September 15 meeting.
January 1, 2026
All approved changes will go into effect.
