Route 11:
Due to road closures for the Red River Market, Route 11 will be detoured July 27, from 7:00AM - 3:00PM.
Outbound Detour: Route 11 will turn east onto 1st Ave N, north onto 4th St. N, west onto 3rd Ave N, then turn north onto 5th St. N, back on route.
Inbound Detour: Reverse of outbound.
Riders can request pick-up or drop-off at any safe intersection along the route detour path. When waiting to board, be sure to wave to the approaching bus to get the attention of the driver. Due to construction of Albrecht Blvd between 15th Ave N & 17th Ave N, Route 13 will be detoured from June 3 until August 2.
Albrecht Blvd. detour: Route 13 will turn east onto 15th Ave N, then turn south onto N University Dr. back on Route.
Due to the closure of the intersection of NP Ave & 8th St. N, Route 13 will be detoured beginning June 10, 2024, until Fall 2024.
NP Ave detour: Route 13 will turn north onto 10th St. N, east onto 1st Ave N, then south onto 5th St. N.

Route 01:
Beginning Monday May 20, Route 1 will begin a significant detour due to street construction on 4th Ave S, 6th St S and 5th Ave S. Route 1 will take 8th St between 24th Ave & 3rd Ave inbound to the GTC.
Bus stops that will not be accessible:

* Shelter on 24th Ave & 5th St
* 5th St & 22nd Ave
* 5th St & 20th Ave
* 5th St & 18th Ave
* 5th St & 16th Ave
* 5th St & 14th Ave

This construction will last most of the summer.

Apr. 5, 2024
Route 04:
UPDATE to Route 4 Detour. Beginning Friday April 5, there will be an update to the Route 4 detour due to the construction at the old Fairmont Creamery area. Route 4 will NOT be traveling by the River View Heights shelter. It will continue on 9th Street to 1st Ave. River View Heights residents can catch the bus at the corner of 9th Street and 2nd Ave N. This update will last approximately 6-8 weeks.
ORIGINAL and still active detour: The 11th St Underpass Project will begin March 25, 2024. This project is slated to last for approximately 2.5 years. Phase One will affect Route 4 and will eventually affect Route 2 in the future. Riders, please be aware that the project will potentially have many detour changes. MATBUS will try to get out information as soon as it is available to us.
Phase One will close down 1st Ave between 9th St and 12th St. See the map below for the detour specifics.
