On Monday, September 29, 2025, the Fargo Commission voted on proposed route changes that had originally been introduced for a public hearing on September 2.
As part of the public hearing process, the City received many comments expressing concern for the potential changes. The Commission delayed making a decision at that time.
After input from transit partners, a new recommendation was given to the Commission, reducing the amount of changes. The Commission approved that new plan, and the only changes going into effect on January 1, 2026 are the elimination of Route 16 and the elimination of Industrial Park On-Demand service.
Below is a list of the original proposed changes, showing which were approved and which were not.
Approved Changes - Starting January 1, 2026
- Route 16 - eliminated
- Industrial Park On-Demand Service - eliminated

The pilot program for Route 15 timing (began May 2025) was approved as a permanent change. This increased Route 15 from a 60-minute route to a 90-minute route to improve on-time performance. - Route 20 - reducing frequency to once an hour and removing service east of 42nd St
- West Acres Transit Hub - removing routes from the West Acres parking lot and shifting the transfer hub to Walmart
- MAT Paratransit Service - eliminating Sunday service
