During severe winter weather, MATBUS may announce that certain routes are on Snow Detour. To see maps of these routes visit the Snow Detour Routes page.

Route 17:

Due to the closure of the intersection of 5th St. N & 2nd Ave N, Route 17 will be detoured July 5-11.

Outbound Detour: Route 17 will turn west on 1st Ave N, north on Roberts St., then turn west on 2nd Ave N, back on Route.

Inbound Detour: Reverse of outbound detour.

Riders can request pick-up or drop-off at any safe intersection along the route detour path. When waiting to board, be sure to wave to the approaching bus to get the attention of the driver. Grey bus stops cannot be serviced during this detour. Detours are subject to change, check the website before each trip.
