This page lists all current detours on the fixed route system. To see detours that have been planned, but not yet started, visit the Upcoming Detours Page.

During severe winter weather, MATBUS may announce that certain routes are on Snow Detour. To see maps of these routes visit the Snow Detour Routes page.


Aug. 2, 2025

Route 13:

Due to road closures for the Red River Market, Route 13 will be detoured August 2, from 7:00AM - 3:00PM.

Outbound Detour: Route 13 will turn west onto 1st Ave N, north onto Roberts St., then west onto 2nd Ave N, back on route.

Continuing Detour

Due to the closure of NP Ave, Route 13 will be detoured beginning June 2. The closure of NP Ave is expected to last up to 90 days.

Inbound Detour: Route 13 will turn north onto 10th St. N, east onto 1st Ave N, then south onto 5th St. N.

Riders can request pick-up or drop-off at any safe intersection along the route detour path. When waiting to board, be sure to wave to the approaching bus to get the attention of the driver. Grey bus stops cannot be serviced during this detour. Detours are subject to change, check the website before each trip.
